  • Opening
  • Discovery0.95/10
  • Objections
  • Asks for sale1.55/10
  • Energy4.5/10

Every call is graded on all five. These are the figures the pilot’s first week returned for the dimensions we published. Nobody knew — because nobody had listened to 37 calls.

Measured, not modelled

The problem nobody measures

Most teams track dials and closes. The money is in the gap between them.

A prospect who says “yes, I’m in” and never signs is not a lost lead. It is a won lead that was dropped after the hard part was already done.

Nobody logs it. Nobody follows up. It never appears in a report — because no report has a column for it. The rep remembers it for a day and then the next list arrives.

Honewire was built for a live gym with a phone sales team. It listens to every call, reads them together instead of one at a time, and tells you what your own records already know.

First week, one rep

50 warm leads from a single rep — people who had explicitly said they would sign or would visit.

3 became customers.

The numbers

One deployment. One rep. First week.

Counted from records, not modelled. Watch where it collapses.

Measured
Dials192
Conversations75
Said yes-ish50
Closed3

33 factual errors caught in what the rep told prospects — wrong prices, wrong hours, wrong staff names.

Across ten separate calls the rep never once left a callback number. Same failure every time, invisible until the transcripts were read together.

32 people had said yes and were never chased again.

Energy scored 4.5/10 and rising. Discovery 0.95. Asking for the sale 1.55.

What the system does

Seven things that happen without anyone remembering to do them.

Each one is tagged by who it works for: the rep, the owner, or the pipeline.

Rep

One button. The rep stops deciding.

A new hire opens the app and presses one button. The system chooses who to call and shows them who that person is, what was said last time, the current promotion with instructions, and the exact words to use — opening line, what to say when they’re busy, how to answer “it’s too expensive”, and how to close.

Effect

A rep is productive on day one instead of week three, and every rep says the same tested thing.

Owner

Every call is scored without a manager

Calls are recorded, transcribed, split by speaker and graded out of 10 across five dimensions — opening, discovery, objection handling, close attempt and energy. Within minutes. Automatically.

It also fact-checks what the rep said against your own knowledge base — wrong prices, wrong hours, wrong staff names — and flags each one.

Effect

At the pilot this surfaced 33 factual errors and a pattern nobody had spotted: the rep never once left a callback number. Ten separate calls, same failure, invisible until the transcripts were read together.

Rep

Reps coach themselves

Each rep gets a scorecard: their score, the trend per dimension, what they’re doing well, and what to fix — each with an exact sentence to say on the next call, using your real prices and your real staff names.

The final section tells them what their current performance is costing the business, in money, from real counts.

Effect

Coaching happens daily without a manager spending a single hour listening.

Pipeline

Your best leads go to your best closer

The freshest, highest-value leads are routed to the highest-rated rep. An unrated or underperforming rep works warmed-up numbers instead of burning your best inbound.

Rating weights the last two days a rep actually worked over their history, so someone improving fast is rewarded within days and a bad first week doesn’t follow them.

Effect

Your acquisition spend stops being handed to whoever happens to click first.

Pipeline

Nobody who said yes gets forgotten

Every lead carries a readiness score out of 100 built from what they actually did — attended, said they’d sign, booked, no-showed — adjusted for how long ago it was and whether they still open your emails.

Say “I’ll sign” and a callback is created automatically. The next person to call them sees “Told us they would SIGN UP (3 days ago) — never signed” and is told not to re-pitch, just close.

Effect

The pilot found 32 people who had said yes and were never chased again.

Pipeline

A fumbled lead is taken off the rep who fumbled it

If the call that earned a callback scored badly, had no close attempt, or contained factual errors, that callback is reassigned to another rep — and the owner gets a daily email of every lead moved, with the reason.

Judged on the specific call, never a rep’s average, so a struggling rep isn’t stripped of the pipeline they need to recover on.

Effect

Warm leads get a second, better attempt instead of dying quietly.

Owner

Runs on the phone they already own

Installs from the browser on iPhone and Android. No app store, no hardware, no desk. Multiple reps call at the same time and the system guarantees no two are ever given the same person.

Effect

Nothing to buy and nothing to install before the first call goes out.

What it is worth

The value isn’t more dials. It’s the leads you already paid for and already converted emotionally.

The arithmetic for one rep at the pilot

  • 25said outright they would sign
  • 2did
  • 40%close rate on people who explicitly said yes — a modest bar
  • 10customers instead of 2
$12,599

Annual recurring revenue
One rep · one month of calls

Scale that by your headcount and your average contract value. If your ACV is higher than a gym membership, the same gap is worth considerably more.

Being straight about the numbers

We split what we counted from what we assumed, so you can argue with the assumption. A number a buyer cannot interrogate is worth nothing.

Measured
  • 192 dials, 75 conversations, 50 went warm, 3 closed
  • 33 factual errors flagged
  • 32 people who said yes and were never called back
  • Real dials, real conversions, counted from records
Arithmetic
  • The $12,599 rests on a stated assumption: 40% close on people who said yes
  • It is not a guarantee
  • Some of those people were never going to sign

The shape holds at any bar you choose: 50 people went warm and 3 joined. Even at a 20% assumption the gap is real.

This system has been live for one week at one deployment. We are not going to tell you it has a proven multi-year ROI.

Where the sharpening starts

Three steps, and your reps are calling.

Built for teams that don’t have an operations department to run a rollout.

Upload a CSV of your leads

Whatever list you already have — export it and drop it in. Honewire is CRM-agnostic and sits alongside whatever you already run; nothing else in your stack has to change.

Add your team

Each one gets a code, sets their own password, and lands in your workspace — your colours, your logo, your domain. No app store, no hardware, no IT.

Set the offer and the words

Your industry pack arrives already written — the opener, the price answer, the close, the objections your trade actually hears, and the facts your reps get fact-checked against. Edit any of it, or none of it.

Honewire

See it on your own call data

Give us one week of your reps’ calls. We’ll show you the leads that said yes and were never called back — before you commit to anything.

Where this is today: your workspace, your branding, your domain, your leads, your team and your scripts all work now. Reps place calls on their own handsets for the moment — the built-in dialer, recording, transcription and automatic scoring are the next module, and the scoring engine is already running in production in the gym this was built for.

The calling system is one module of a larger platform — billing recovery, membership lifecycle, campaign attribution and owner reporting are scoped and priced separately, once this one is proving itself in your business.
